PAYMENT

What are the possible payment methods?

Payment can be made using Credit or Debit Cards. Alternative payment methods like Paypal and Paynow are also supported. 

We're in the midst of exploring other payment methods as well, so stay tuned!

Can I pay cash upon receiving my orders?

We do not accept Cash On Delivery payments. We only fulfill orders once payment has been received in full.

My gift card/promo code isn't working.

Get in touch with us at ask@bettrbarista.com along with your gift card/promo code information and we'll look into it.

EXCHANGE, RETURNS & REFUNDS

Can I cancel my order after making payment?

Get in touch with us at ask@bettrbarista.com to cancel your order. Orders can only be cancelled if they have not been shipped out for delivery, your cancelled order will be refunded to you only in the form of a promocode to use towards your next order. 

I want to change an item on my order.

Get in touch with us at ask@bettrbarista.com to let us know which item you would like to change. Items can only be changed if they have not been shipped out for delivery.


If your new item is of lower value, the difference will be refunded to you in the form of a promo code to use towards your next purchase only. If the new item is of a higher value, you will need to top up the difference.

I received my Cold Brew order but I would like to exchange for a different Cold Brew type.

Cold Brew items are not applicable for exchange, returns, and refunds for food safety reasons. 


You may change your Cold Brew type in your next order, or alter your Cold Brew subscription to change the type of Cold Brews you receive in the future.

Help! My ordered items are not working properly/damaged.

Help! My beans delivered were not ground/wrongly grinded.

I have an issue with my order made on a 3rd Party Platform, what can I do?

For orders made outside of BettrCoffee.com, the refunds and exchange process will be as detailed by the respective platforms. 


For orders made via Shopee, Lazada, Qoo10: Please reach out to us on via the chat function on the platform.

For orders made via Fairprice Marketplace, Grab, Pandamart: Please reach out to the platform's help desk.

SUBSCRIPTIONS

How does the subscription process work? 

With every coffee subscription, you'll receive a 250g of freshly roasted coffee beans at the interval of your choosing. We currently offer subscriptions at 1, 2, 3 or 4 week intervals (frequency), and you are also able to specify the number of bags you'd like per delivery (quantity) - if you'd like more! This is a recurring order with no binding period, and you will have the flexibility to edit the subscription based on your coffee consumption level.


Subscribe and save 10% off the regular price of Bold Heart and Heart Blend, and receive a trackable delivery service at a subsidised fee of $2 only. 


We also offer the Signature Blend, Single Origin and Roaster's Choice Subscriptions to let you enjoy a wide variety of coffee so you’ll never get bored with the same coffee. 


These are the variety of coffee rotations you can look forward to receiving with each delivery:

Signature Blend Subscription: Bold Heart, Heart Blend, Versa and Myanmar Ywar Ngan Blend

Single Origin Subscription: a curated series of single origin beans for you to discover coffees and tasting notes that appeal to your palate.  

Roaster's Choice Subscription: signature blend coffees and seasonal single origin coffees. This allows you to taste the diversity in coffee ranging from a bold, heavy blend to a fruity origin.



Note: To register for your subscription service, kindly make your payment using a registered PayPal account. Using the PayPal Express Checkout option will only result in a one-time transaction/order.

Can I have multiple ongoing subscriptions? 

Yes, you can manage subscriptions independently from each other on your account page.

Can I subscribe to more than 1 bag of coffee per delivery? 

Yes, you can specify the number of bags you'd like per delivery by toggling the quantity when you subscribe.

How much does it cost? 

The indicated subscription price is per 250g bag of coffee beans. To ensure that you receive your freshly roasted beans in a timely manner, from 16 August 2021 onwards, we have moved completely to a doorstep delivery service at a subsidised fee of $2 for all subscription orders.

When will I be billed?

Your card will only be charged on the automated charge date, based on your subscription frequency. A reminder email will be sent 3 days prior to the next charge date to confirm your next coffee delivery. For example, if your delivery frequency is every week, we'll bill you every 7 days from the last charge date.

How do I change my next charge date, quantity of next order and/or subscription frequency?

We understand your routine can change and your coffee consumption may vary. You can easily change your setting by logging into your account and click "Manage Subscriptions" on the My Account page. Click "Edit" to change next charge date, change product quantity and/or change delivery schedule. Alternatively, you may drop us a note at hello@bettrbarista.com for assistance.

When is the latest I can make changes to my next order? 

You can reschedule your next coffee delivery and also adjust the subscription frequency and quantity as long as it is before the the charge date. Once payment has been made, we will proceed with roasting and delivery. You may email us at hello@bettrbarista.com to check on the status of your subscription.

Can I pause or skip my next subscription delivery? 

You can either reschedule the next charge date to suit your requirements or drop us a note at ask@bettrbarista.com for assistance. 

What is the shipment schedule for subscriptions? 

For Coffee Bean subscriptions, once your recurring payment has been verified, your order will be processed within 1-2 working days. Once your order has been processed, an automated email will be sent to you with a tracking number to check on the status of delivery. You can expect to receive your coffee 2-3 days thereafter. All coffee beans and merchandise orders will be shipped using door-to-door courier service by our courier partner, Shippit.


For Cold Brew subscriptions, orders are delivered every Wednesday, between 9am - 4pm. Orders received by 12 pm on Tuesday, will be delivered on Wednesday in the same week and anything after, will be delivered on the Wednesday of the next week. Please ensure that someone will be around to receive your delivery as our Cold Brew needs to be refrigerated immediately to retain its freshness and quality.


Am I bound to any subscription time frame? 

No, you may cancel your subscription if you no longer wish to receive your order.

Can I order 1kg coffee beans?

Currently we only package our coffee beans in 250g bags.

Can I request my coffee to be ground and packed?

Yes, grind options (Whole beans, French Press, Filter and Espresso) are available for our coffee beans in 250g bags - you can toggle the grind when you place order.

Kindly note that we will be opening up sealed bags from our roastery to assist with the grinding and re-sealing and as such, there might be a slight weight loss due to the grinding process.
